Literature

What character did you identify the most? Why?

The character that I identified the most was one of the main characters named Stacy. The reason behind this is that most of the book explains how Stacy changes her thinking about her heritage. The main affect that changed her point of view was when a girl named Hong' Chun came over from China. The way Hong' Chun described her nationality was new to Stacy. Stacy always considered herself as a regular teenager. However, she realizes that there is something special about her religion; its the importance of seeing your family and actually following your religion. In the book, The Thief of Hearts, Stacy recognizes that she should be proud of who she are and consider herself unique.

Welcome Beta Scientists

My favorite subject is social studies because I like learning about how the ancient people lived and what they created.

The best book I ever read was The Year of the Dog.
My favorite food to buy in the cafeteria is the pizza.
On the weekend, when all my chores are done, I like to go bike riding with my friends, watch t.v., read, draw/paint, play the wii, and practice my soccer skills in my back yard.
If I won a free airline ticket to any place I wanted, I would go to the Caribbean because it is very relaxing and beautiful there and I absolutely love to play in the water and go to amusement parks.
My favorite colors are green, blue, and lavender.
If I had a pet, it would be a ferret and I would name it Horton.
This year, if I work hard enough, I hope to go to geometry next year.
